Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Do & Dough mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Do & Dough is a family pocket money management application that allows parents and guardians to:

• Manage pocket money allowances for family members
• Create and assign tasks and chores with monetary rewards
• Track spending and savings across the family
• Set savings goals for family members
• Communicate financial activities within the family group

Do & Dough is NOT a bank, financial institution, or payment processor. The App is a tracking and management tool only. No real money is transferred, stored, or processed through the App.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a parent/guardian account
• Child accounts must be created by a parent or guardian
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• We recommend enabling biometric authentication for additional security
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Family Groups

4.1 Family Administration

• The account creator is the initial family administrator
• Administrators can invite other members, assign roles, and manage the family group
• Administrators are responsible for the appropriate use of the App within their family

4.2 Invitations

• Family invitations are sent via email
• By accepting an invitation, new members agree to these Terms
• Administrators can remove members from the family group at any time

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App in any way that could harm minors
• Use automated systems or software to access the App
• Circumvent any security features of the App

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, logos, and content, is owned by Do & Dough and protected by intellectual property laws
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App

7. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy
• You consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy
• You are responsible for any data you enter into the App

8. Availability and Updates

8.1 Service Availability

• We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• The App requires an internet connection for full functionality; limited features are available offline

8.2 Updates

• We may release updates to the App from time to time
• Some updates may be required for continued use of the App
• Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Any defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DO & DOUGH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Do & Dough, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time
• Deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete your account

12.2 By Us

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• We may discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately

13. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
• We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email

14. General Provisions

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Do & Dough operates.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Do & Dough regarding the use of the App.

14.4 Waiver

The failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
